When I set up this section it occurred to me that it's not exactly clear how we would want a UK group to work. Would it be telephone conference calls, messenger chats or meeting in person? Those members who stated where they were from on stevepavlina.com were distributed right across the British Isles. Is the prospect of more than one or two people physically meeting possible? Would it need to be planned many months in advance? Should meets be structured to take place in areas where most people are located? Apart from this I would like to organise sessions with people who are expert in areas that we are particularly interested in. This would most likely be conference calls but it could be a Q&A with questions submitted in advance and the answers all posted in a single thread. As I've said before this can only work if we discuss the options and that can't happen until people register. If you have a friend who isn't on Steve's site but is from the UK why not invite them along too. There are no rules here, it's all about making ourselves the best we can be and how we do that is certainly fluid at the moment.

Well as I see it, all those ideas seem good. I use messenger a lot so that's good and the phone conference is a good idea too. It would be good to actually speak to people but as there's so few people this could take a while! Hopefully not.

It would be nice to meet up sometimes in the future to meet like minded people. What do you think?

It would be nice to meet up sometimes in the future to meet like minded people. What do you think? It would certainly. Where are you based? I'm in Peterborough. There are a few online sites dedicated to personal development but it seems a bit anonymous as you don't even get to see what people look like most of the time. Time to put that to an end...

Hello, I am new too, and would be interested in any events. I live in Leeds, seems we are all over the place!

Hi Kelly, Welcome aboard. Yes, we do appear to be spread but that doesn't mean we can't meet up wit the right planning in person. We can certainly discuss our respective targets here or via telephone conference calls an messenger services. Thanks for posting Kelly. It's through interaction this community can grow.

Hello, I am new too, and would be interested in any events. I live in Leeds, seems we are all over the place! That is the interesting bit, that we are all over the place. I know, it is a challenge, but who knows, maybe we can arrange to meet up somewhere and get to know each other.

AGAIN, I have already left a similar message on another thread. No one seems to want to get involved in meeting up and maybe starting a group where we can meet up, talk, watch a DVD or whatever someone comes up with.

Now that there's more content on here I will look at reinviting people from SP. I just don't want to be accused of spamming.

Hi there - I am sure there are other Forums where you can leave a message with your detail on. It is NOT spamming to me if you ask again for support. After all, we are here to spread 'the word' and however we do it and if it works depends on the people and yes, of course on the Universe. I wish you luck and if I can do anything else to help, please let me know.
