This is not a review...well, not a review from me in any case. It is a post to highlight the (now launched) book from Steve Pavlina called Personal Development for Smart People.
Learn the 7 universal growth principles (truth, love, power, oneness, authority, courage, and intelligence) to achieve major breakthroughs in your habits, career, finances, relationships, health, and spiritual development.
The website stevepavlina.com currently has the highest traffic of any personal development site in the world with a forum of 21,500 members. Earlier this year, at the time of the book announcement, there were a staggering 1,217 online on this valuable resource.
His journey from prison cell in 1991 via games development to internationally recognised blogger is truly incredible. All his website content is free preferring instead to leave unobtrusive hints for donation and using Google Adwords to make his money. As he says himself: "Blogging is my medium, not my message."
The model is just so utterly brilliant and simple it has sparked many copycat sites but they will have a hard time matching the rate of growth that Steve is experiencing. The book is already in the Top 10 in its category on Amazon and has, on some days at least, been in the Top 100 best sellers of ALL books .
As I am yet to read a copy I am unable to give you my personal opinion on the book. This I will do in time once I have acquired one but for now I hall add a couple of links that will provide a deeper understanding of the content.
